Our Warehouse Manager is seeking some enthusiastic go-getters to help sort and organise stock donations. These donations can range from bric-a-brac, kitchen utensils, crockery, clothing, books, footwear, CD/DVD's, toys, art etc.

We do please ask for a commitment of a minimum of one, 4 hour shift per week.

All this while having fun with fellow volunteers, engaging with customers, getting an informed look into the inner workings of an op shop and amazing charity organisation

The tasks include:

  • sorting into size & category (including clothing, footwear etc)
  • keeping a well organised and safe work station
  • recyclying and upcycling
  • general light housekeeping duties

You will be trained, supported and always have assistance available each shift. If there is a particular category you have an interest in or more familiar with, we can aim to focus your day around that and utilise your skills.

*** We are Centrelink Approved ***

Note: this is a Volunteer Position and is not paid. Applicants must be over 18 | long term commitments of +6 month

Our vision at Save the Children is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. This means ensuring children no longer die from preventable diseases, that they have a childhood – even in emergencies, that they have the opportunity to learn through access to education and that they have (and understand) their rights as a child. We fight for legal safeguards to address and prevent child protection concerns.
