Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an auspice of the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) ), an initiative funded by the Australian Government. CVS Volunteers visit residents in Aged Care homes in NSW & VIC either one-to-one or as a group. In some areas, CVS volunteers may visit older people in their own home. Volunteers provide companionship and friendship and reduce the effects of isolation. Volunteer visitors may share stories, go for a stroll, listen to music or play a game.
