Logo for MS Plus Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme

Do you have an hour a week to give to a beautiful new friendship? MS Plus is an auspice of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) an initiative funded by the Australian Government. ACVVS Volunteers visit residents in Aged Care homes either one-to-one or as a group. In some areas, ACVVS volunteers may visit older people in their own home. Volunteers provide companionship and friendship and reduce the effects of isolation.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) offers a very rewarding opportunity to build your skills and connections. Be rewarded by the warmth of a meaningful relationship! You can enrich someone’s life by simply reading a book, helping with a hobby, sharing a cup of tea and a chat, enjoying a walk or watching a TV show together.
