Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have a profound effect on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people in the Bowral community.

Spend one hour per week or fortnight with someone who may be lonely or socially isolated. We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who are interested in spending time with the elderly in our community and willing to connect over the phone about various topics of interest such as: music, crafts, cooking, gardening, travelling, sports, reminiscing, and books or even reading to a client in a shared genre of interest.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. You'll need to be aged 18 years or older and have your own car transportation.

All HammondCare volunteers receive training and on-going support from a local HammondCare Volunteer Coordinator

When you submit your enquiry, please include details on why you're interested in volunteering.
