US Mr Perfect is a grassroots charity that brings men together at BBQs in local parks across Australia, to create community and connection. However, we are more than a BBQ. Online we provide support, information and resources for the good of men’s health.

YOU Mr Perfect has found our current and most “successful” BBQ Hosts have some or most of these traits:

• Experience employed in mental health / healthcare / health
• Are community-focussed and heavily involved in their local community
• May have experienced / seen first-hand a mental health challenge and come through the other side positively
• A first-class communicator
• Diplomatic, organised, optimistic and focused
• Have organised events previously
• Skilled using Facebook and / or Meetup.com

COMMITMENT / NOTICE 3-4 hours per month / 2 months notice

DUTIES Operations:

• Organise the BBQ to a high-level of competency to ensure maximum success

Marketing:

• Hand out flyers / cards / posters in the local area to businesses & community groups
• Contact local media such as newspapers & radio stations

Social Media:

• Sharing the BBQ Facebook Event Listing to your networks regularly Contributing to the Mr Perfect Facebook Community Group with supportive, connection-related posts

Finance:

• Send receipts / photos of BBQ promptly to CEO for reimbursement after the event

HR:

• Take part in periodic “training” and debriefs with other BBQ Hosts across the country
