We seek a volunteer to assist the members of our Social Club to develop our yearly internal events program; this will be a mix of social events, team-building activities, social responsibility initiatives, personal/professional development sessions and internal fundraising events. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is studying Events, or with an interest in organising events. Here at VGC, we value collaboration, innovation, inclusivity and positive relationships; this role will have a direct impact on providing opportunities for our volunteers and staff to connect, engage and collaborate.

You will be liaising with our CEO’s Executive Assistant to assist with our events strategy, planning and execution of events and will be required to make recommendations and forward plan. You will need a variety of competencies including working with a team, strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, be highly organised and have a positive attitude. You will ideally need to have previous experience coordinating events and possess high level computer skills.

Times required: Half day each fortnight which can be worked, at times, from home if preferred.
