PURPOSE: Assemble and lead the Fundraising Sub-Committee to secure ongoing funding and support for Marketing, client and volunteer services, day-to-day operations and new initiatives through grants, personal donations, corporate gifts and sponsorships and corporate partnerships.

REPORTS TO: Fundraising Committee Sponsor

DUTIES: The fundraising for POOPS has historically been done by one person. As the organisation has grown so has the role and we would like to expand this into a team to explore the different types of fundraising. This role will carry out fundraising activities for POOPS and assemble a team if and when they feel that extra help is required. ♦ developing the annual fundraising strategy and budget in consultation with the fundraising committee sponsor; ♦ fielding fundraising queries or opportunities and actioning or assigning to team members; ♦ engaging and training volunteers interested in being involved in the fundraising team; ♦ overseeing the Airtable fundraising database; ♦ reporting updates, needs, challenges and opportunities to the Fundraising Committee Sponsor; and ♦ familiarity with organisation finances to support treasurer as a back-up in case of holidays or illness.
