Key Duties include assisting with:

Events  hire gear bookings for events  planning night attendance, following up forms and other related queries  send out post-event evaluations  archive event attendance records  upload event attendance records to UPLOADS (national database)  confirm external services when required  deal with event enquiries not able to be answered by office volunteers  other duties that may arise in direct relation to events and the calendar

Tours  organise daypacks, water bottles, name tags for participants  assist with queries from potential and current clients  confirm bookings and follow up outstanding issues  reconfirm all accommodation, services, menus, final client payments  follow up tour evaluations as needed

Duke of Edinburgh and Group Notifications  assist with queries re the Adventurous Journey Duke of Edinburgh program  process Group Notifications, including liaising with the RTU at Parks and Wildlife and liaise with groups as needed

Reporting  update any documents tracking who/what has been followed up and provide progress updates to the Events Manager

Other  Other administrative tasks as directed by the Events Manager

The BTF values its volunteers highly and has an ongoing recognition program. All BTF volunteers are registered with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation & Attractions and, as such, are included in their rewards program.
