Sprung!! is a not for profit organisation that provides integrated workshops for people with and without disability, with a focus on dance and physical comedy. The company develops dance theatre works through a collaborative and disability-led process that inspire mainstream audiences and promote a more inclusive society.

ROLE SUMMARY The Sprung!! Volunteer Coordinator assists in coordinating volunteers across the organisation, including those in administration, the community programs including online programs, transport and in productions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Building Volunteer base and Relationships Liaise with the Giving and Admin Coordinator about potential volunteers Meet with potential volunteers to assess their needs, goals and suitability for volunteer opportunities Assist to onboard volunteers Assist to maintain volunteer relationships Assist to develop a recognition program for volunteers and to enhance their engagement and enjoyment of volunteering with Sprung!! Liaise with Giving and Admin Coordinator about volunteer opportunities Liaise with Operations Manager about any HR issues Assist with building volunteer base through networks, volunteer centres, potential student projects Provide feedback to the Giving and Admin Coordinator regarding volunteers Assist with Compliance and Safety of Volunteers

ABOUT YOU You will be: Familiar with people with a disability and how disability arts management might function. Passionate about connecting with volunteers and building community. Have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and positive working relationships with a wide range of individuals and stakeholders Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite Current Working with Children’s Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check or prepared to obtain one
