MAKING A DIFFERENCE Here at Wallarano Primary School we have a wonderful reading program called "Bridges". Do you have time on your hands? Do you have the desire to help a child read? If you have answered "yes" to these questions, then Wallarano Primary School needs your help.

"Bridges" is an intervention reading program conducted by volunteers who are willing to give 50 minutes of their time, 3 days a week. It is designed for students who require additional support with reading and comprehension.

Each "tutor" is trained to assist our children in reading, writing and word discovery. Constant support and feedback are given and the relationship between tutor and student is very rewarding.

Must be able to commit to at least 6 months of volunteering, though we would prefer 12 months commitment.
