Provide 1:1 social support for our aged care residents at St Vincent's Care Douglas through activities such as games, spending time in the garden, reading, having a chat or sharing another special interest.
During the COVID-19 pandemic volunteers are more important than ever, especially as our residents navigate the difficulties of isolation. Your presence and positivity will be essential. Because the pandemic can bring sudden changes, SVC will continue to follow the guidance proposed by governing health bodies around the safe inclusion of volunteers at our local facilities. Please be conscious that there may be delays to your recruitment or availability at a facility as a result.
