Key responsibilities -Online Events -Develop fundraising and marketing strategies and communications plan for HER Africa -Establish HER Africa’s organisational brand to ensure that the communities we work with are accurately represented using best practices in international development and/or humanitarian aid Identify and build networks with potential donors and partners to expand the organisation’s potential to deliver more programs in partner communities -Apply for grants and organise fundraising events -Content creation for social media accounts

Skills, experience, and attributes -Knowledge of fundraising and marketing strategies, previous experience in international development, humanitarian aid, or not-for-profit sector is desired -Experience in working in the grassroots and/or volunteer sector is desired -Ability to approach potential funders and donors -Stakeholder relationship building and management -Experience in writing grant proposals -Experience in event management and initiating marketing strategies/campaigns -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Knowledge in photo and video edit -Exceptional storytelling skills -Ability to work independently and in a team environment (remotely) -Comfortable working with web-based collaborative tools like Google Suite
