Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love.

Mary describes herself as very friendly, chatty, and with a good sense of humour. She loves gardening, playing games on her iPad, spending time with family and friends, and loves watching sitcoms. Uniting are seeking a personable and engaging volunteer to support Mary to reconnect with her community.

You'll effective communication skills and a good sense of humour. Visits may include accompanying Mary on outings for coffee or to browse the local shops. Your own vehicle will be required to transport Mary*. Valid driver’s license necessary. The skills and confidence to work independently are a must.

As a valued member of the Social Support Team, you will have access to ongoing training and development, opportunities to meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice to make an impact in your community.
