Are you a people organiser and a great communicator? The Hub 6163 is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join their team. Located in Hamilton Hill, The Hub is a volunteer run venue where workshops are held, knowledge and skills are shared, and everyone is welcome. The Hub Volunteer Coordinator role is an excellent opportunity to gain leadership and people management skill, expand communications experience, be involved in the community and make new friends.

Key Tasks

  • Source and recruit volunteers to support Hub activities
  • Develop an onboarding process for volunteers
  • Arrange appropriate volunteer training
  • Maintain a database of volunteers
  • Roster volunteers
  • Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed
  • Share information for upcoming volunteer opportunities and events
  • Liaise with the committee regarding volunteer trends and issues
  • Celebrate volunteering achievements and share volunteer stories
