The Ozanam Learning Centre is a community centre based in Woolloomooloo where people can connect, learn, participate in activities and workshops, and access a wide range of supports. Our work aims to provide opportunities for inclusion and support for those who need it.

We provide creative programs such as art and music, health, well-being and recovery programs, personal development and living skills programs.

We occupy the third and fourth floors of a building in Woolloomooloo. are seeking the support of volunteers for the following activities:

  • Greeting all participants who visit the Ozanam Learning Centre
  • Providing guidance or direct assistance to support enquiries
  • Receiving phone and face to face bookings for activities and programs
  • Identifying engagement opportunities for individuals based on interactions
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive culture at the OLC -Potentially conducting group recreationalactivities such as trivia, board games, carpet bowls etc.
  • Providing other frontline administrative support as required

To do this role you will have a warm, outgoing personality and a demonstrated compassion for disadvantaged members of the community.
