As you visit and spend time with residents in HammondCare, you may get involved with activities including morning teas, art and craft activities, and one on one social visitor interaction and life engagement. You'll have a broad interests in all things related to cooking, gardening, drawing, painting, exercise, traditional board games, jigsaws, music, dancing, animals and reading.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to residents.
