For Girls aged 5yrs to 17 years who want fun, new friendship, and adventure!

We meet in the Old Show Hall, Main Road, Willunga on Thursdays during school terms, 5.30pm to 7.00pm. We provide leadership and personal skills development through the Australian Guide Program. As well as regular meetings we also go on camps, excursions and participate in community events.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES:

We welcome female volunteers over 18 years of age!

Commitment is flexible and we have a wonderful team that are excited to work with you.

If you enjoy working, empowering, supporting, and guiding young girls and women through fun activities, adventures and life skills and like to have your own journey/fun at the same time, then Willunga Girl Guides is for you! We have multiple opportunities:

• Unit Leaders, come from all sectors of the community and are trained volunteers who enjoy sharing their time and empowering with young people. Training is conducted within the organisation and teach you valuable skills in helping to run the unit but transferable to other life experiences. The Unit Leaders work together as a team and share the responsibility and accountability for running unit activities and engaging youth members.

• Ongoing Volunteers are a female adult working to assist the unit, either on a casual basis or regularly.
