Assist with providing quality removalist transport service Assist to load and unload goods to and from the vehicle Operate in a manner that promotes effective teamwork, good relationships with community members, and fellow team members Be prompt, courteous and respectful when interacting with others Assist with keeping community members informed and updated of agreed removal of goods from one address to another Safely transport items on time Strict adherence to WHS policies in relation to the lifting and moving of furniture and goods Actively promote TSA in a positive manner at all times Wear a supplied uniform and identification at all times when undertaking TSA duties Provide Quality Customer Service
Exhibiting professional image of the office environment, displaying professionalism and integrity at all times. Accurate information provided to community members. Refer people to appropriate Salvation Army services. Follow up with the Driver and/or Doorways Regional Manager if unsure. Listen carefully, and acknowledge and refer concerns, issues or queries to the Driver and/or Doorways Regional Manager. Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment
Monitor and rectify any health and safety concerns within the centre. Escalate issues that cannot be attended to the Doorways Regional Manager. At the end of each trip, assist with cleaning and re-fuelling vehicle, return vehicle to the hire company, complete logbook details for TSA and report any concerns re the hire vehicle to the Driver and/or Doorways Regional Manager In the event of any incident occurring or a near miss, inform Driver and ensure an Incident Report Form is completed by Driver Immediately report any health and safety concerns, notifiable incidents and near misses, to Doorways Regional Manager and ensure any hazards are controlled until rectified Ensure hazard, incident and accident form is completed when required in a timely manner
Qualifications and Experience Requirements for the Position Good communication skills.
