The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme coordinates volunteers to visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and a regular visit from a volunteer.

We are looking for a male volunteer who would enjoy visiting a care recipient in a local Residential Aged Care Home. The recipient has an interest in gardening and loves to potter in his little garden at the home.

Your hours can vary from 1 hour per fortnight upwards with times and days arranged to suit yourself and the recipient.
