The Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon is run by Events Management Queensland, a not-for-profit organisation, and they would not be able to deliver Australia’s leading marathon without volunteers. The time and resources provided by volunteers in the lead up to and over race weekend ensures the event is a success each year. The benefits are not entirely for the event - volunteering is a great way to meet a variety of people from all walks of life and you’ll have fun while giving back to the community.

Our CCQ volunteers will be assisting the event, primarily supporting athletes by operating the bag drop tent in the race precinct.

You will be provided an event shirt to wear on the day. Please bring your own hat and water bottle.

To apply for the role, please follow the link provided in your expression of interest form and complete the necessary information required. After you complete this form, you can select your shift.

Volunteers are required to be a minimum of 16 years of age, and anyone under 18 will be required to provide parent/guardian details.

If you have any questions and concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Volunteer Hotline on 1300 851 957
