Feline Care
GAWS | Geelong Animal Welfare Society
Help look after cats and kittens who may have been surrendered by their owners or found on the streets. GAWS can have up to 100 cats and kittens in our care at any given time. This role involves cleaning out the pens, ensuring the cats have clean kitty litter, fresh food and water. This is a busy role but enjoyable as you help the cats and kittens be well cared for and get re-homed. Shifts are usually half day, morning or afternoon. There are also afternoon shifts in our Shy Cats Club which involves spending time with timid cats and/or kittens.
