Our sewing group runs every Monday 11.00am – 2.00pm at our office in Southport. We require a female volunteer to assist as follows:

• assist with set up of sewing machines and coffee/tea facilities and pack up/clean up after the group finishes
• support the women during the session with whatever is needed (Note: you do not need to know how to sew but this would be greatly appreciated)
• have a positive attitude and an interest in empowering women to learn a new skill as well as practice their English in a safe space
• this position would suit a highly motivated woman who would love to connect with a diverse range of women in a fun environment
• Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and First Nations women are encouraged to apply
• volunteer must be available from 10.00am – 3.00pm every Monday.
