The Red Nose Treasured Babies Program supports families following the death of a baby by providing beautiful handmade items of clothing for parents to dress their baby in, no matter the gestation. The program is run by volunteers, with support from Red Nose staff. The Treasured Babies Administrator will provide administrative support to the program by liaising with other volunteers, Red Nose staff members, hospitals and other key stakeholders.

  • Respond to email enquiries
  • Manage orders by liaising with hospitals and volunteers at the Treasured Babies Centre
  • Organise orders to be collected by either external couriers or Red Nose Clothing Collections
  • Place orders for all supplies required by the centre. Take delivery of orders and record information in database.
  • Answer telephone enquiries
  • Manage all incoming packages by recording donor information, contacting them to thank them for the donation and photographing the items to be placed on the Facebook page
  • Update Treasured Babies Volunteer Facebook page
  • Assist Treasured Babies Coordinator with any additional tasks as required

Important - This position requires at least one morning per week (either Tuesday or Friday) onsite at the Treasured Babies Centre in Mooroolbark. Another 3-5 hours will be required to complete additional administrative tasks, which can be done remotely if preferred.
