Cricket Operations Manager (Juniors)

PURPOSE OF ROLE To assist the Management Committee in delivering the outcomes of the operational plan and organisational needs and serve the members of the Club.

DUTIES • Foster junior membership from Under 8s to Under 17s age group. • Organise and manage season registration for Juniors. • Manage ‘My Cricket’ (or other applicable program) for season registrations, team allocation and other updates as required. • Handle specific and general enquiries from parents and prospective members in a thorough, timely and professional manner. • Liaise on grounds with relevant Councils, and with grounds coordinator for relevant Associations. • Be the nominated Club contact for competition dates in liaison with relevant Associations. • Oversee Equipment and Uniforms for Juniors. • Oversee and organise Juniors Events and Presentations. • Prepare End of Season Report. • Disseminate information to Coaches and Manager’s. • Identify and contact potential new Juniors sponsors, and in a planned and systematic manner record details of meetings and/or other contacts in the database. • Assist and work with the Club Secretary and Junior Vice President in all matters concerning Juniors. • Contribute when requested to any relevant aspect of managing Balmain South Sydney Cricket Club, for example by providing input into discussions on database management, advertising, member / player recruitment etc. • Always present a professional, friendly, and honest image to members, clients, stakeholders, contractors, and colleagues. • Provide completed weekly outcomes and monthly activity sheets as requested by Management Committee. • Attend meetings of the Club and of the Management Committee, when invited.

• Should be able to provide back-up to Operations Manager – Seniors, Club Secretary, and Club President, if required. • Other duties as required from time to time.
