About us At Inclusee our mission is to use the power of connection to reduce isolation and loneliness for Australians. This is achieved through our social connection and companionship programs, including Connect2One.

How does it work? Inclusee provides social connection and companionship programs for seniors, with the aim of reducing isolation and loneliness. Seniors are matched with a virtual volunteer who provides weekly visits for 1 hour via Skype.

During the digital visit, the Greek speaking Volunteer is responsible for chatting with the Participant and listening to their stories.

The program creates a place where the Participant can feel valued and can belong and where the Volunteer and Participant can have a friendly catch up.

As well as providing Digital Visits, Volunteers are required to complete monthly review emails, log their shifts in the Polixen app, work in a safe manner, uphold policies and guidelines and participate in online training and events.

Volunteers can be based anywhere in Australia but will need to have their own laptop or smart device, phone and reliable internet.

Please note, upon submitting your expression of interest, you will be asked to submit a formal application by visiting our website. Once registered via our website, please check your junk/spam folder for our email and training log-in.

Benefits: Why should I join in? Inclusee Volunteers make a direct impact on the life of the senior but often provide us with feedback as to how volunteering has helped them gain new skills, confidence, reduced their own loneliness, expanded their networks, supported them with employment and much more.

As an Inclusee Volunteer, you have access to free telephone counselling, access to Lifeline's Mental Health training, Volunteer Virtual Conference, reference and all from the comfort of your own home. How awesome is that?
