Boxhead Plastics requires a Volunteer Plastic Car Bumper Bar Collection Assistant who will assist our truck drivers to attend smash repair industrial sites across Sydney, and load car bumper bars into the truck then transport them to our recycler.This is a manual job with a lot of lifting involved.
The Volunteer Bumper Bar Collection Assistant will be required to meet the Boxhead Plastics truck driver at an arranged location and will ride in the truck with the driver to each smash repairer scheduled for that day. The Volunteer Bumper Bar Collection Assistant will assist the truck driver to manually move and load the bumper bars into the truck and manually move and load the bumper bars out of the truck during their 8 hour shift.
You will be given gloves, eye wear, and high vis vest and plenty of training.
The Volunteer Bumper Bar Collection Assistant will gain valuable knowledge and insights into the recycling industry and how transport and logistics work to aggregate this waste plastic. The Volunteer Bumper Bar Collection Assistant will play a pivotal role in diverting plastic waste from landfill and will receive a reference and certificate of appreciation for their work, where appropriate. If you stay as a regular volunteer we hold regular social gatherings all paid for by Boxhead Plastics such as dinners, bowling, movies ect.
The Volunteer Bumper Bar Collection Assistant can either meet us at 6:30am at Hornsby train station or if yo ulive in or around the Sydney area we may be able to pick you up from a location that suits better.
