Sea Shepherd Chapter Co-Coordinator- SAPPHIRE COAST

Sea Shepherd is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Co-Coordinator to support the leadership of your local volunteer chapter. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Chapter Coordinator and the national support team to help organise events, engage the community, and support a crew of passionate ocean defenders.
Whether you're stepping into leadership for the first time or have previous experience in coordination, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to marine conservation.
Key Duties Support the Chapter Coordinator in managing and motivating the local volunteer team
Help organise and attend community stalls, events, and fundraising activities
Assist with communications, meetings, and volunteer engagement
Take on responsibilities such as managing merchandise, equipment, or event bookings as needed
Represent Sea Shepherd in your local area with professionalism and passion
Contribute to planning, reporting, and growing the chapter’s reach
Skills and Experience A team player who enjoys supporting others and being part of a mission-driven group
- Reliable, organised, and good with time management
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Some experience in community engagement, volunteering, or event organisation (helpful but not required)
- A passion for ocean conservation and alignment with Sea Shepherd’s values
- Comfortable using email and basic digital tools (training provided)
