What is the Broncos Learner Driver Program? The Broncos Learner Driver Mentor Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students get free access to supervised driving lessons to work towards obtaining their driver license.
Our students are matched with a Broncos Volunteer mentor who will supervise their driving in our designated program vehicle. The Broncos Learner Driver Program will operate in the Ipswich region across six Beyond The Broncos high schools.
To Become a Broncos Volunteer Mentor:
Be over the age of 25
Hold a current Old Open Drivers License for over 12 months
Have a current QLD and/or NSW Working with Children Check Commit to a minimum of one school term (10 weeks) *Give a minimum of 3-4 hours per week
