VOCAL act Inc was founded in 1988 by a group of victims of homicide. It was the first victims support service in Canberra Queanbeyan and region. It is a non for profit community organisation. This is an ideal volunteer position for any one studying counseling, social work or psychology and even law studies. It is an excellent environment to get work experience and a useful reference for the paid workforce. There is a variety of tasks which will give a volunteer a well rounded experience of working within a health support service. Regular clinical supervision is available.
