Do you love sewing and sharing your skills with others? Would you like to help newly arrived women from refugee backgrounds learn new skills and make new friends?

We need a caring and responsible female machine sewing teacher to teach basic sewing skills to a group of women from refugee backgrounds. The group is designed to provide social connection for newly arrived refugee women.

All materials including, sewing machines, material, cotton and other resources will be provided.

The role is to teach women basic machine sewing skills.

• Set up sewing machines and pack up.

*Teach women how to make school library bags.

*Identify suitable sewing activities based on students sewing level.

*Support women in trouble shooting problems on their sewing machines as they arise.
