Volunteers can choose to work as little or as much as they are able to. We set up rosters so that the volunteer work can be spread out between volunteers. Even 2 hours of your time is immensely helpful. Please contact us and advise which stores you can assist at and your date and time availabilities so we can organise future rosters.

Training

We will teach you on site how to do the job including cash handling, eftpos terminals, cooking the sausages, safe handling of the food and serving customers.

Time required

We are looking for volunteers to assist for a few hours at future Bunnings BBQs at Taren Point, Nowra, Kembla Grange and Bellambi. Dates TBC but most BBQs will be on weekends. Times of volunteering are based on your availabilities, but the peak times are 11am to 2pm for the BBQs. Future dates can be provided in advance, so we know your availabilities and rosters will be created.

Reimbursement

Any purchases of items for the BBQ if required i.e. sausages, onions, paper towels, sauces or drinks.
