Advocare Community Volunteer Visitor

For just one hour a week, you can make an amazing difference to an older person's life! Adovcare is an independent, community based, not-for-profit organization supporting and protecting the rights of older people in Western Australia through information, advocacy and education. We assist older West Australians to understand their rights within Aged Care and navigate the Aged Care system. We assist people to access the right supports and protections available to them. As an ACVVS Volunteer you'll visit a client in their home, or in an Aged Care facility, and take part in activities with them like:

• Having a cuppa and a chat
• Listening to music
• Playing card games
• Going for walks
• Video or telephone catch ups
• Letter writing
