Group Facilitators - Mahjong (Hong Kong style)

Chatswood Library is committed to providing resources and programs that support lifelong learning, creativity, and community engagement.

As a volunteer, you'll facilitate our Mahjong group and help people make new connections.

Key Duties:

Teach or guide participants how to play Mahjong (Hong Kong style)
Set up and close each session
Provide feedback from participants to the library coordinator for evaluation
Facilitate a positive environment for participants to learn and enjoy Mahjong
Support staff and patrons to maintain safety requirements
Be punctual for the scheduled session and, if unable to make the commitment, contact the responsible staff member

Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of Mahjong (Hong Kong style)
Good communication skills and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Patience, enthusiasm and a friendly demeanour
