Showcase It Inc. is a not-for profit organisation based on The Gold Coast Qld, formed to: • Create awareness and support Medical Research and the evaluation of music as a therapeutic aid in the treatment of neurological disorders, creative ageing, childhood development, and community wellness.
• Showcase creativity and talent in the Arts, emerging talent, and artists whose lives have benefited from music as a therapeutic aid. • Play a crucial role in the community by providing a platform to educate, strengthen and improve the mental health, and well-being of communities, bringing the arts into the community, building community spirit, wellness and a better quality of life for those living in it, creating social inclusive, caring, vibrant societies. • We are looking for someone to become a valuable member of our team, who is diligent, skilled and creative, able to think “outside the square”, who has excellent time management, can work alone, and alongside our Chairman, committed to creating successful outcomes.
• You will have the opportunity to support musicians who have benefitted through the therapeutic use of music to gain confidence and work opportunities. • Help the community become aware of the opportunities to be gained from the research into Music and Health. • Support the inclusion of vulnerable people through this work. • Work at times to suit your own schedule, (which we would discuss) to meet the marketing plan and deadlines created. Showcase It Inc. is integral in the community and collaborates with other not-for-profit organisations within Main Beach and the South-East Queensland region. Our events are very popular with all age groups, in particular the 40+ age group due to the outstanding variety of talent we promote. Our next event will appeal for the first two hours to an older age group, followed by a very exciting headline act that has a large following particularly in the 25-55 age group (yet appeals to all ages), known for their world-class musicianship and captivating improvisations, which will be a new act to be heard on the Gold Coast. It is our aim to also introduce this 25-55 age group to The Power of Music.
