Can you give the gift of friendship?

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis. We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants. Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

Daphne would like to meet a Leisure Buddy to spend time with and share activities with. Daphne is a big fan of games and has a big Pokemon collection. She also loves going to the movies and stage shows, and enjoys dancing and exercise. She would like to catch up with someone to go on outings with, preferably on weekends.

No previous experience is required. Competencies include a warm, friendly and patient approach as well as empathy, good communication skills and a great sense of humour.

Your impact: Volunteering is a rewarding activity where you can connect with like-minded people, develop your skills and help to improve the quality of life for all involved. We are committed to ensuring that volunteers across our programs are encouraged, supported, trained and well informed for mutual benefit.
