As an Orange Sky (OS) Service Leader, you will guide the volunteer leadership team to ensure an efficient service and an awesome experience for all volunteers and friends (people experiencing homelessness) on shift. You will support the team with rostering, scouting new shift sites to continue to grow sustainable services in your region.
A week in the life of a Service Leader may look like:
- Provide leadership to the volunteer team, including mentoring, coaching, training and conflict resolution, as required
- Support with training and onboarding of new volunteers
- Build and maintain great relationships with Service Providers (partners we work with on shift)
- Assist in monitoring and resolving incident reports
