A walk with Wendy*
If you would like to connect with older people who are socially isolated, we’d love to hear from you!
This volunteer role offers:
- An opportunity to gain experience in the aged care sector
- An opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and in the life of someone else
- Supervision and opportunities for learning and development
Wendy used to enjoy participating in charity walking events and spent much of her time discovering and hiking new tracks. In recent years, Wendy has found that his eyesight is impacting her ability and confidence to walk. She would love to be connected with someone who can accompany her on walks and support her to reconnect with the great outdoors.
If you have an interest in supporting people 65+ to reconnect with their interests and community please apply!
