Working closely with the senior retail officer, the role’s primary focus is supporting the team in administration and general retail duties. The contribution you make in this role will enable greater efficiency in the retailing processes and support a positive customer experience, which in turn ensures financial viability to support the animals in our care.

This involves:

  • Greeting/directing customers.

  • Assisting with visual merchanting and ticketing system.

  • Building carriers and cat scratchers.

  • Assisting with packing online orders and subscription boxes.

  • Other duties as required.

For this role you you will need:

  • Commercial awareness.

  • Great time management and organisational skills.

  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Be physically fit to lift up to 15kg.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a small team.

  • A “Can do” attitude.

  • Good eyesight.

You will receive training in using the database, manual handling, online order packing, barcode scanning and general retail operation.
