Tasks: The candidate will write Community News articles for our Monthly newspaper The candidate will identify the news happening in various cultural communities in Brisbane. The candidate will need to call community leaders of various CALD community organisation to seek information for news articles from that community.

Experience Needed: Candidate has written articles for English newspaper Candidate is a Graduate from a tertiary School Candidate has studied journalism Must be familiar with Current happenings in the World Candidate has experience in researching for content

Time Required: At least 10 hrs per month.

About the Organisation: MCCQ is a non-profit organisation striving to connect multicultural diaspora of Australia together through the media Multicultural Newspaper and YouTube channel giving the CALD community a platform to express their voice. We also organise events that raise awareness on certain issues which give the CALD Community a platform to express their opinions and views.

Impact of Volunteering with our organisation: Volunteers working with our organisation will be able to gain relevant professional work experience. They will be able mentored by professionals to shape their career paths. Volunteers will be able to publish articles in a professional Newspaper.
