Position Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Pack Down Volunteers to join our team for the upcoming Sunshine Kokoda Challenge. As an Event Setup Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in helping us pack away the Event Village.

This position provides a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, gain event management experience, and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking down the setup: Assist in packing away tents, booths, and other structures in the Event Village.
  • Signage: Packing away and storing signage including promotional, directional signs, banners, and other event signage.
  • Assist with Logistics: Support the logistics team in packing trucks and trailers with all of the event gear
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow volunteers, event staff, and vendors to ensure we leave the space as we found it


  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry event equipment as needed.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing event requirements.
