Information and Referral Volunteer
POSITIONAL RELATIONSHIP Responsible to: Volunteer & Client Services Coordinator Collaborates with: Information & Referral Consultants
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Volunteer Coordinator with organising the front desk and receiving clients.
- Assist the Volunteer Coordinator with booking appointments where appropriate.
STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
- Answer calls and queries to provide information and referrals
- Book appointments for the legal team for clients & information and referral queries
- Restock pre-appointment documents and envelopes
- Answer the Admin Line
- Greet all phone clients, take down their details and handle them as appropriate.
- Keep desk tidy and clean
- Report any identified hazards to health or safety of volunteers or staff immediately.
- Assist the Volunteer Coordinator with any other duties that are required. These may include but not limited to: a. Office stationary orders b. Printing jobs c. Updating the Community Legal Centre Chart d. Tasks from other members of staff that are approved by the Volunteer Coordinator.
