HammondCare Daw Park is looking for a Mini-bus Volunteer Driver for our aged care Residents to enjoy an outing in the local area. You will be accompanied by care staff who will look after the resident’s care needs.

You'll suit this role if you are comfortable to:

  • Be a safe and confident driver to assist staff during bus outings
  • Attend full/half day excursions
  • Provide social support and interact during activities
  • If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.

Your impact

Volunteering as a Minibus Volunteer can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
