- Ambulance Officers
As an ambulance officer, your roles could include:
- Attending Emergency calls
- Routine patient transfers
- Using priceless first-aid knowledge to help at community events.
- Completing regular training to keep your skills sharpened.
As an Ambulance Officer you would be providing a duty of care to all patients in all different circumstances, in their time of need. You would need to handle extreme situations on a regular basis that could be facing you on a callout.
- You must have a valid C Class Driver license
- To be able to pass a National Police Check
- Physically able to perform CPR
- Can commit to a minimum of 5 volunteer hours per month,
- Commit to completing a first aid course with St John (provided at no cost)
- Be able to cope with high adrenaline situations, and be calm of mind.
- Be discreet and agree to a Confidentiality agreement.
