West Welcome Wagon (WWW) is a small, predominantly volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation providing practical material aid to people seeking asylum and refugees living in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
Job description
- Manual Handling: Participate in the physical organisation of the warehouse, including packing the van with furniture and other donated goods. This role requires a good level of physical fitness.
- Software Proficiency: Utilise software to create efficient picking and run sheets, streamlining the delivery process to ensure timely distribution of goods.
- Delivery Coordination: Organise daily delivery runs, ensuring donated items reach refugee and asylum seeker families efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our dedicated team to prepare items for dispatch and support the overall mission of West Welcome Wagon.
Location: Sunshine West Warehouse
Time required: around 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 9:30am
Commitment required: Ongoing
