As Volunteer Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by providing financial oversight and contributing to our organisational success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the volunteer branch’s financial records and ensure the handling of funds is always conducted in accordance with the legal requirements of RSPCA NSW

  • Oversee and record all financial transactions of the branch

  • Accurately and in a timely manner manage the branch’s financial affairs and regularly inform the executive committee and all members of the branch’s financial position and alert them of any significant or concerning changes of financial standing.

  • Ensure that all funds received are receipted from the RSPCA NSW official receipt book

  • Deposit all income received within three working days

  • Prepare and provide the volunteer branch financial report to the Branch Manager by the 10th of each month using the official template as provided by Branch Manager

  • Ensure all RSPCA NSW guidelines, policies and procedures are followed
