We are looking for superstar Volunteers that are passionate about helping our charity support seriously ill children and their families by becoming a volunteer within our after-hours 'House Custodian' team.

Volunteer Qualities

We are looking for applicants that posses the following skills/experience:

  • A friendly, nurturing, trustworthy, patient, compassionate, tolerant, reliable and vigilant character
  • Own transport or have the ability to travel to and from the site
  • Open and accepting of diversity; able to demonstrate empathy
  • Emotionally stable and resilient to potential high pressure scenarios
  • Customer orientated, outgoing, confident and proactive
  • Team player whilst able to work autonomously
  • Good communicator, able to engage with a wide range of people
  • Preferred experience working with families and children
  • Committed to understanding and contributing to the RMHC
