The Southern Fleurieu Health Service, is looking for a Volunteer Project Manager to be able to spend a couple of hours a fortnight to help on the Centennial Commemorative Book project.

This role would be working with a small committed group of volunteers, under the direction of the Southern Fleurieu Health Advisory Council, you will help us to put together a project plan and keep us on track through to the publication of the book in time for the centenary of the hospital in November, 2029. We are heavily in the research phase and starting to focus on content. There is a lot to do and we need help working up a plan to help us get there.

Ideally you will have:

  • some experience with project managing/coordinating projects of a similar size/nature
  • good planning skills
  • good attention to detail
  • good people skills particularly in keeping us on track and helping to work through any roadblocks we might find
  • good at identifying risks and working out mitigation strategies with the group
  • a communications and marketing background or interest (not essential)
  • an interest in helping the local community capture a significant piece of its history.
