Retail Volunteer

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Serving customers of Goodies
• Ensuring the shop is well stocked, clean and tidy.
• Sort donations
• Price items
• Use the cash register carefully and correctly
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.

No previous work or volunteering experience needed, however money handling skills and experience in a previous customer service role is valued. Being a people person is essential.

Volunteers will be required to attend mandatory training on site which may be held outside of their rostered days/times.

All successful applicants will be required to undergo a working with children and vulnerable people check. This is processed through the Uniting Church at no cost to volunteers.
