Youth Group - Friday Frenzy Volunteer
The Friday Frenzy Volunteer role involves working with a group of children and young people within a team of dedicated and like minded individuals.
There is a primary school group and a high school + college group, each group goes for 2 hours with a snack break halfway. During these groups, we facilitate group games, crafts and supper.
#Responsibilities:
Program Assistance:
*Collaborate with program coordinators to plan and execute a variety of youth programs and activities.
*Contribute creative ideas to enhance program content and engagement.
Youth Engagement:
*Interact positively with program participants, providing mentorship and guidance.
*Foster a safe and inclusive space where children and young people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Event Supervision:
*Assist in the supervision of youth during program events and activities.
*Ensure the safety and well-being of participants throughout the duration of programs.
Collaboration:
*Work closely with fellow volunteers and program coordinators to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
*Provide feedback on the program content.
Mandatory Reporting Guidelines:
*Understand and work within the reporting guidelines in the ACT.
*Complete the Keeping Children and Young People Safe eLearn training.
*Flag any concerns with management.
