This is an exciting volunteer opportunity for those wishing to expand their skills in the Events industry Work within the Sea Shepherd policies (Reduced Plastic at Sea Shepherd Events and Veganism and Events) • Research, plan and book events that fit the target and demographic for Sea Shepherd to exhibit and volunteers to attend • Roster volunteers for each event ensuring there are enough people to make the stall/event run smoothly • Submit events budget to NOC for any stalls and events that have a fee to exhibit at – approval must be granted before paid events are booked in. Consideration will be based upon the cost of the event fee, expected attendance, target audience for event and output. If repeat event, consideration will also be based off previous year’s sales history in merchandise and donations. In some cases, approval will not be granted due to the cost and return for Sea Shepherd • Assist the planning and execution of the annual Sea Shepherd Australia Ocean Defence Tour alongside the Chapter Coordinator.
